Those of you who missed the Black Friday and Cyber Monday sales for whatsoever reason, there are still tons of smartphone deals available out there. Both Newegg and B&H are offering the handset for $199, meaning it’s basically the same 50% off deal Asus was offering on Black Friday on the $399 device.
Launched earlier this year in February, the ZenFone Zoom packs a 2.3 GHz Intel Z380, 4GB of RAM, a 5.5″ 1080p display, 13MP camera with 3x optical zoom, 5MP selfie snapper, 64GB built-in storage (expandable via microSD slot), and a 3,000 mAH battery.
In addition, the handset also brings along a pair of ZenEar earbuds and a phone strap.
Asus claims that the handset’s rear camera is capable of automatically switch to DSLR-like OLS that facilitates 16x longer exposure duration, ensuring a much more stabilized, sharper, and clearer image. Apart from that, the ZenFone Zoom’s laser camera also boasts a 0.03 seconds laser autofocus technology that makes the handset the “fastest possible clarity”. This feature, designed to provide better resources for smartphone photography, can accelerate close-up photography by compressing for the extra distance created by the lens receding while framing.
.The discount offer available on both B&H and Newegg are basically the same, although you could say that the latter is charging $0.99 more. Because the phone comes unlocked out of the box, buyers can use it with any GSM carrier including the likes T-Mobile, AT&T, MetroPCS etc.
