Studio Ghibli Shocker: Hayao Miyazaki Steps Out Of retirement AGAIN to direct another movie

Miyazaki, who been an inspiration to the entire generation, has AGAIN decided to return for one final time to the movie industry as a director once again. Some people are just bad at retiring, the body does grow old, but the mind refuses to age, and same is the case with Miyazaki and we can’t thank more. He officially retired in the year 2013 and since then dedicated himself to only short movies. But he is now somewhere not satisfied with his current project Boro the Caterpillar, a CGI project. The director told a Japanese news channel that, he would be making Boro a full-length anime movie and have even started working on the project.

Though a formal go-ahead from Studio Ghibli has still not arrived, but that hasn’t stopped the enthusiastic director to pause his excitement for directing the anime movie. He has admitted Boro will take around 5 years to complete but with full-time dedication and timely obedience to a stiff schedule can cut it down to 4 years. He is targeting 2020 Tokyo Olympics which is brilliant in terms of marketing as well.

The director would be starting with storyboards for around 100 cuts of footage. The oscar winning director (Spirited Away), has defined Boro as: : ‘A story of a tiny, hairy caterpillar, so tiny that it may be easily squished between your fingers.” . Boro has remained the dream project of Miyazaki since past 20 years which makes him emotionally attached to the project.

Miyazaki movies have done a lot of business in the past and he has earned a lot of acclaim for his direction. His movie Spirited Away had won an oscar in the year 2003. Well, we can’t wait to watch the movie.
