Uncharted 4 is a good game. But we would rather not have a story DLC for that and therefore get to have The Last of Us 2 instead. The story between Joel and Ellie isn’t finished yet and it would be dumb and lazy to have new main characters. But most importantly, how will The Last Of Us 2 take advantage of the new PS4 Pro and the PSVR?
The Last Of Us 2 will truly shine on the PS4 Pro and PSVR
It’s only logical. Sony wants to force us to buy the new PS4 Pro console. And what better way to achieve that than to put the best ever franchise and most popular game ever on that console. The sequel could be exclusive on the PS4 Pro and that will really drive up sales. Couple that with a unique VR experience and you have a killer system seller. (via movie news guide)
What if in the Last of Us 2 there are a new type of villain? Drug addicts who have created a new drug made from the fungus. They smoke/inject small doses of the fungus and are semi-infected but still human. However, they are also smart but also erratic in their behavior. They have however exposed themselves to the fungus in small doses because it turns out that it is addictive as hell. It doesn’t turn them but has side effects on them that messes up their mind much like the 100% infected. We think that will be an interesting twist on things.
On the other hand, we would also love to see the virus mutations take scary and more deadly forms and start infecting animals as well. Imagine those giraffes, gorillas, dogs being turned into infected killing machines. That’s way scarier than a bunch of junkies. Also, Joel is a beast and we’d love to see a prequel taking place sometime in-between his daughter’s death and meeting Ellie.
