The HTC 11 is expected to be launched in the first quarter of 2017. However, HTC has been quite about the upcoming smartphone. Now, new details about the HTC headset have been leaked online.
The new HTC 11 details were leaked on the Chinese equivalent of Twitter, Weibo. As per the leak, the upcoming HTC 11 will sport a 5.5-inch display with 1440 x 2560 resolution. However, the interesting part is that the screen will be curved. It seems HTC might be going in a new direction with the successor of HTC 10, which featured a 5.2-inch flat screen with QHD resolution.
The HTC 11 is expected to be powered by a yet unreleased Snapdragon 830 processor, which is speculated to be the best mobile chip from Qualcomm. The octa-core processor will be supported by 4GB or 6GB of RAM. According to Tech Radar, the HTC 11 will sport a 12MP rear camera and an 8MP front camera.
While the HTC 10 was released in April this year, the HTC 11 is expected to come out early next year. The PC Advisor predicts the HTC 11 will be priced under $700. However, going by the latest trend, the flagship might cost up to $750.
HTC 10 price starts from Rs. 39,950 in India. It is powered by a 1.6GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor along with 4GB of RAM and 32GB internal storage, which can be expanded up to 2TB via a micro SD card. The flagship smartphone sports a 12-Ultrapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel front camera. The Android 6.0 running smartphone is backed by a 3000mAh non-removable battery.
