PS4 Pro will launch with 30 games optimized for the system. But not all optimizations are optimized optimally. Here’s what you can expect for those to get the most out of your hamburger console with the PS4 Pro Launch Titles. It seems they’re going to be offering options for people who would prefer higher framerate instead and we like that.
List of PS4 Pro Launch Titles
Some notable games in the list include Battlefield 1, Call Of Duty: Black Ops 3, Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered, Deus Ex: Mankind Divided and many more famous titles. There’s no upgrade for Bloodborne, which we think is one of the few exclusives worth caring about. The Witness and Tomb Raider devs have the right idea. One option for “4k” 30fps. Another option for 1080p or 1440p at 60fps.
This is actually awesome, the choice of higher frame rate or higher resolution left to decide by the gamer. The difference between native 4K and upscaled 4K is not a huge difference, Sony stated the difference of quality might be 20%. If that’s the case, we’re fine with that. It’s great to see consoles with better hardware getting a feel to high fidelity visual and a little better fluidness. Not trying to brag with what we got but still this good for all ecosystem in gaming.
In addition to the titles listed above, more than 45 games will be optimised for PS4 Pro by the end of the year, including Watch Dogs 2, Killing Floor 2, The Last Guardian and Final Fantasy XV, with the likes of Nioh, Resident Evil 7 Biohazard and For Honor to follow in early 2017.
Further to that, all first party software launched in 2017 and beyond, including Gravity Rush 2, Horizon Zero Dawn, Days Gone and Gran Turismo Sport, will enjoy the benefits of the world’s most powerful console. Let us know your thoughts on the PS4 Pro Launch Titles so far.
