Recently, Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare Zombies Mode got a live stream from Infinity Ward which showed zombies in Space Lander. We got our first look at the gameplay for zombies and during the stream, devs revealed some easter egg for the Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare Zombies Mode. We’ll discuss those as well as other revelations the devs made for this game mode.
Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare Zombies Mode details revealed
The first easter egg takes place in the Afterlife Arcade where you go when you are killed in the game. You can play games here and earn points to get back into the game quicker. In the zombie mode occasionally people will pop out of nowhere for you to kill and these are the developers of the game.
Another interesting thing is the pause screen in the zombies game. During the dev live stream, we got a brief look at the pause menu. It shows Start Match, Loadout, Barracks, Choose Film and Zombie Crates. The barracks will probably feature challenges and Choose Film will allow us to select the map to play on. However, the most interesting option is Zombie Crates. There was no mention of this before so it’s hard to tell what these are and what’s their purpose in the game. Maybe these are rewards in the game that we can open up for extra skin, fortune cards etc.
In this game, we have a perk limit of 5. This is an increase from previous CoD Zombies games which had 4 perks. The devs also explained how the fortune cards work in the game. In the bottom right there is a bar that will fill up as you get more points. Once it fills up completely, you will be able to use the Fortune Cards you have at your disposal. To use another Fortune Card, you’ll have to fill that bar once again.
