Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 landed just a few days ago (PC version is slated for October 28), and the game already managed to provoke huge interest. It comes with better graphics, some new characters and boss fights, a completely new hub city 7 times bigger than the original game, and many new customization options.
One cool thing about the game is that Future Trunks, who’s part of the Deluxe edition of the game, can be unlocked in the regular version, no paid DLC or something like that. The other immensely powerful unlockable character is Gogeta, who appeared in the Fusion Reborn movie. Stay with us and find out how to unlock both characters.
Gogeta
In order to get access to Gogeta, you must beat Parallel Quest 57 and on top of that fulfill two out of three requirements. The first is making sure Goku and Vegeta stay alive long enough so they can fuse into Gogeta. The other requirement is their fusion itself. If you manage to fulfill all that, Gogeta will become playable.
The fight is tough. Firstly, you must beat Janemba and Buu, after which Cell and Frieza might show up to intervene. If you manage to beat those two foes, a new, evil version of Janemba will appear. You must beat evil Janemba in order to unlock Ultimate Finish and get the most valuable loot.
Future Trunks
Future Trunks is unlocked from the start for the owners of the Deluxe Version of the game. If you got a regular version you’ll have to finish Story Mode. Since Future Trunks is one of the most popular characters of the whole series, it’s great Namco Bandai didn’t offer him as a paid DLC.
It’s good to know that there are two versions of Future Trunks in Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2; one version includes moves from the GT and Z forms of the character while the other includes Final Flash, an ultimate move used by Vegeta.
