Kuroko No Basket is one of the most popular sports Manga and Anime out there. The Manga ran from December 2008 until September 2014. The Anime series, on the other hand, started back in 2012.
The first season of Kuroko No Basket aired in 2012, which featured 25 episodes. The first season was a huge success, so the production team went ahead and made the second season, which ran from October 2013 to March 2014 and it also had 25 episodes. The third season, on the other hand, ran from January 2015 to June 2015 and it again consisted of 25 episodes.
Kuroko No Basket Season 4 To Be Delayed
Since the third season of this critically acclaimed sports anime ended, fans have been eagerly waiting for the next season to arrive. However, we currently don’t even know whether there will be Kuroko No Basket season 4 or not.
The studio behind Kuroko No Basket, Production IG is yet to confirm whether the series will get another season or not. Many rumors claim that the anime series will get another season, but not soon. The reason behind this is the fact that Production IG is currently busy with some other anime projects. So the studio currently have no time to focus on the fourth season of Kuroko No Basket. If they’re busy, then it would definitely take the studio some time to make the announcement regarding the next season.
Kuroko Basketball The Movie: The Last Game Movie To Arrive In Spring 2017
On the other hand, fans don’t have to get disheartened as they will be able to enjoy some Kuroko No Basket in a few months.
That’s right, the sequel to Kuroko No Basket Manga, Basket: Extra Game ended back in May. And only a few weeks after it, an anime adoption of the sequel, Kuroko Basketball The Movie: The Last Game was announced. The movie is currently scheduled to arrive in Spring 2017. The movie only has a different title, and it will feature the same story as the manga sequel. So fans definitely have something to look forward to in the coming months.
Along with this, rumor is that in Kuroko No Basket season 4, the main team will now face some new teams in an international tournament. This will be interesting as they will be now facing teams from different countries. The team will definitely have to train more, as the teams they will face will feature different styles.
As for now, we currently don’t know when Kuroko No Basket season 4 will arrive, but the studio will most probably make an announcement regarding it after they get free from the projects on which they are currently working on. In the meantime, fans can wait and enjoy The Last Game movie, which will premiere in spring 2017.
