Apple has announced that it’s upcoming Mac event, called ‘Hello Again’ will be held on October 27th. It is expected to unveil the new MacBook Pro 2016 at the event. The new MacBook Pro (2016) is the highly anticipated device, with rumors floating through over for months. Now, a recent trademark filing claims that the MacBook Pro 2016’s new OLED panel will be called ‘Magic Toolbar’.

The new MacBook Pro is expected to come with many new features and improvements. The new additions will include an OLED function key panel, which is expected to replace the FN keys. The newly designed OLED function panel is said to be placed on the upper part of the keyboard. It will provide easy and quick access to frequently used applications.

The contextual touchpad will offer different controls, allowing you to perform different functions, depending on which app or program is active on the screen. So far, it has been referred to as a ‘Dynamic Function Row’. Apparently, the Apple’s official name for the new feature will be the ‘Magic Toolbar.’ As per Brian Conroy from The Trademark Ninja, the new name will fit in line with the other MacBook features such as the Magic Mouse, Magic Trackpad, and Magic Keyboard.

The new flagship Apple laptop is also rumored to incorporate a Touch ID function, which will allow you to unlock the device via fingerprint. The security feature is already used in Apple smartphones and is said to be located under the laptop’s power button. Additionally, it will feature a larger trackpad and flatter keyboard.

Apple has already sent out invitations for the ‘Hello Again’ event, which will be live streamed online. It starts will begin at 10AM PT / 1PM ET and hopefully unveil the new MacBook Pro update.

Fans are already looking forward to the new features. Here’s What We Know So Far: The new 2016 MacBook Pro will come with a 5K display, Touch ID power button, new design and more powerful hardware. The new laptop will also be thinner than the current version. The touch panel above the keyboard will come with multiple integrated features. Along with a bigger Trackpad, Apple might move to all USB-C ports, replacing both classic USBs and MagSafe power cords for a simple all-in-one port.
