Anyone looking to buy a new phone under 20000 now has one more option to consider – the newly launched Xiaomi Mi Max Prime. Launched earlier this week, the device quickly became out of stock on the official Mi India website. Don’t worry, though. In case, you are interested, Xiaomi is also making the device available on Amazon from Oct. 19 onward.

Xiaomi Mi Max Prime specs make it the bigger and more powerful sibling to the Mi Max released earlier this year in June. The handset comes with a massive 6.44-inch Full HD display with a pixel density of 342 ppi.

It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 chipset and 4GB RAM. The native storage capacity is 128 GB which can be expanded to 256GB using a microSD card. The Mi Max Prime runs Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow out of the box with MIUI 8 on top.

As for the cameras, the primary snapper with a 16MP sensor brings features such as phase detection autofocus (PDAF), LED flash, and f/2.0 aperture. There’s also a 5MP selfie-shooter at the front with 85-degree wide angle view. The battery capacity is 4,850 mAh.

The handset is currently priced at Rs 19,999, making it one of the most attractive choices in the category of “best under Rs 20k smartphones”.

Meanwhile, Xiaomi is also holding its Diwali Sale under which lucrative deals including Re 1 flash sale will be extended across its product portfolio. The flash sale began on Tuesday at 14:00 hours and it saw 100 units of 20,000 mAh power banks, alongside 30 units of Redmi Note 3 (16GB) for only Re 1.

The flash sale will be back again on Wednesday when 30 units of Mi 5 and 100 units of Mi Band 2 will be sold for just Re 1/.
