WhatsApp Messenger has received a new beta update which bumps the version number to 2.16.311. The new update does not bring any new features to the popular free messaging app, but we do expect minor bug fixes and performance improvements.
The latest WhatsApp 2.16.311 APK Download file is now available at many mirror websites and weighs around 31MB. The app is compatible with all the Android smartphones and tablets running on Android 2.3.4 or a later version of the OS.
As we mentioned above, the current WhatsApp APK will come with no new features but if you have not updated your WhatsApp for quite a long time, you will surely be benefitted with the changes of the previous update. For those who are not aware, the official changelog is given below-

• New emoji. And sending a single emoji will now appear larger in chats.
