Asus has launched its Zenfone 3 Laser smartphone in the Indian market. The new smartphone is priced at Rs. 18,999 and it will be exclusively available on Flipkart for a month. Later on, it will also be available on other e-commerce sites, retail stores and Asus Exclusive Stores across India. The Asus Zenfone 3 Laser comes in Glacier Silver and Sand Gold color options.
The Asus Zenfone 3 Laser sports an uni-body metal body measuring 149 x 76 x 7.9 mm and weighs 150g. It features a fingerprint sensor on the back that claims to unlock the smartphone in 0.2 seconds. The new smartphone sports a 5.5-inch display with full HD [1080p] resolution, 2.5D curved Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection, and 77% screen-to-body ratio. It is powered by 64-bit octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 ( 4 x 1.2 GHz Cortex A53 + 4 x 1.5 GHz Cortex A53) processor with Adreno 505 GPU. The powerful smartphone is supported by 4GB RAM and 32GB internal storage, which can be expanded up to 128GB via a micro SD card. It runs on Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) OS with ZenUI on top.
The Asus Zenfone 3 Laser sports a 13-megapixel rear camera with Sony IMX214 sensor, f/2.0 aperture, 3-axis EIS, and dual-tone LED flash. It features a 2nd gen laser auto-focus that allows you to focus in 0.03 seconds. There is also an 8MP front camera with f/2.0 aperture on-board. Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, and GPS. It supports Hybrid Dual SIM (nano + nano/micro SD) and is backed by a 3000mAh battery.
