PlayStation VR major questions answered

Question 1: Can I wear glasses?

Yes absolutely. You can also use a button to move the lens closer or away from your face to make room for your glasses.

Question 2: Do I need a PS4 Pro?

No. PSVR works with all models of PlayStation 4. But the PS4 Pro will enhance the visual fidelity of some PSVR games.

Question 3: Do I need a PlayStation Camera?

Yes. The camera tracks the movement of the PSVR headset using its 9 LED lights. New redesigned PlayStation 4 camera works well with it too.

Question 4: Do I need PlayStation Move Motion Controllers?

Limited number of games require the motion controller at the moment. For any such game it will be clearly marked on the box and mentioned in trailers. Your original PS3 Move controllers can also be used in case you don’t have the new ones.

Question 5: Can I use the Share button to stream and upload screenshots?

Yes, of course. However, since the PlayStation 4 camera will be busy tracking your motion, you won’t be able to use it to capture your face and display it during live streaming of games.

Question 6: Can you play normal PS4 games, or watch Blu-ray and DVDs?

Yes. This is called cinematic mode for non-VR games. You can view them inside a virtual screen whose size you can also adjust.
