TCL has introduced their flagship TCL-950 smartphone in China. The device is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 SoC coupled with 4GB of RAM. Let’s check out the specifications of the TCL 950 in detail.
TCL 950 Specifications and Features: The TCL 950 sports a 5.5-inches Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) AMOLED 2.5D curved glass display, 100% NTSC color gamut and is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 SoC Quad-Core 64-bit processor with Adreno 530 GPU. It packs 4GB of RAM and 64GB internal storage with a microSD card slot for memory expansion up to 128GB.
It runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow right out of the box. Talking about the camera, the device features a 21-megapixel rear camera with SONY IMX230 sensor, dual-tone LED Flash, f/2.2 aperture, PDAF, and is capable of recording 4K Videos. On the front, there is an 8-megapixel front camera, f/2.2 aperture, 1.125um pixel size, 84-degree wide-angle lens for selfies and video calls.
The TCL 950 features a fingerprint sensor, dual speakers, dual NXP Smart PA amplifier chip for better audio experience. Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, and USB Type-C. A 3000mAh battery with Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 support is on board.
Pricing and Availability: Priced at 3299 yuan (US$ 494 / Rs. 32,900 approx.), the TCL 950 comes in Gold and Silver color options. No info on the global roll out yet.
