Google already announced that the Nexus 6, Nexus 5X, Nexus 6P, Nexus 9, Nexus Player, Pixel C and Android One will receive Android Nougat 7.0 update, and now reports claim Samsung is planning to bring Android Nougat to Galaxy Note 7, Galaxy S7/S7 Edge before the end of the year.
Aside from getting Android 7.0, Galaxy S7 and the Galaxy S7 Edge will also receive Grace UX feature, first seen on Galaxy Note 7. Grace UX brings new features, like the Always On Display, also first seen in the Note 7.
Aside from 2016 flagship devices, Android 7.0 Nougat will come to the Galaxy Note 5, Galaxy S6, S6 Edge, S6 edge+, S6 Active, S6 Ironman edition, Active, S7 Active, S7 Batman edition, and S7 Olympic edition.
But those aren’t the only models getting the Nougat update. Other models that’ll probably get Nougat are Galaxy A9, Galaxy A9 Pro, Galaxy A7 (2015), Galaxy A7 (2016), Galaxy J5 (2016), Galaxy A5 (2016), Galaxy Tab S2, Galaxy A8, Galaxy On7, Galaxy C5, and Galaxy C7. But, as it usually goes, the said devices will probably receive Android Nougat update after flagship models get it.
Android Nougat comes with a plethora of new features like the multi-window support, improved Doze feature, direct reply notifications, new VR platform called Daydream, seamless updates and many more.
