Lava has launched a new smartphone in the Indian market, called the Lava X28. The 4G VoLTE-enabled smartphone is priced at Rs 7,349. It will be available in Gold, Silver, and Coffee colour variants.
The Lava X28 smartphone features a 5.5-inch display with HD [720p] resolution. On the hardware front, the new smartphone is powered by a 1.3 GHz quad-core processor along with 1GB of DDR3 RAM. It is supported by 8GB internal storage, which can be expanded with a micro SD card. The X28 smartphone runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system out of the box.
The dual-SIM handset sports an 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash.There is also a 5-megapixel front camera with LED Flash on-board. Lava has added several camera features to the new device. The new smartphone can record ‘Slow Motion Video’ as well as a ‘Time Lapse Video’. It also comes with a ‘Face Beauty’ feature to enhance selfies. The X28 can record and playback full HD (1080p) videos smoothly. It is backed by a 2600 mAh battery.
Additionally, the Lava X28 comes equipped with a ‘Transliterate Feature’ that helps you with an easy translation of English language in various native languages and vice-versa. It supports 12 Indian languages. While a ‘Smart Gesture’ feature allows users to get direct access to apps with gestures like ‘W’ for the browser, ‘M’ for music, ‘V’ for the video player, etc.
The domestic mobile smartphone maker also launched the new Lava A82 smartphone. The 3G handset is priced at Rs 5,299 and will be available at all retail stores and multi-brand outlets across the country. It sports a 5-inch display and is powered by 1.2 GHz Quad Core Processor along with 1GB RAM. It is supported by 8GB internal storage, which can be expanded up to 32 GB via a micro SD card. The dual SIM smartphone runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop OS. It comes equipped with a 5MP rear camera with LED flash and 2MP front camera. The new smartphone comes in Blue, White and Gold color variants. It is backed by a 2,000 mAh Li-ion battery.
