Soon after it went on for sale in India, Samsung has now officially launched the Galaxy J7 Prime smartphone in the country. The device comes with a fingerprint sensor and runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow right out of the box. Let’s check out the specifications of the device in detail once.

Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime Specifications and Features: The Galaxy J7 Prime packs a 5.5-inches Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) TFT display with 2.5D Corning Gorilla Glass 4 protection to protect the device from sudden drops and scratches. It is powered by the Exynos 7870 SoC clocked at 1.6GHz Octa-Core processor.  The phone comes with 3GB of RAM and 16GB internal memory that can be expandable via a microSD card slot. Just as you would expect, the J7 Prime runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow with TouchWiz U.I on top.

Talking about the camera, the device rocks a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and f/1.9 aperture. On the front, there is an 8-megapixel front camera with the f/1.9 aperture for better low-light selfies and video chats. As we said earlier, the Galaxy J7 Prime comes with a fingerprint sensor embedded into the home button for extra security. Connectivity features include 4G LTE, Dual SIM, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1, and GPS. A massive 3300mAh battery is on board.

Official Pricing and Availability: The Galaxy J7 Prime comes in gold and black colors and is already available in India via offline retailers at a MOP of Rs. 18790 and MRP Rs. 19400. Apart from the Offline part, the device will be sold exclusively on Flipkart just like other J-series smartphones.
