Infocus has introduced an innovative product on the notebook PC segment. The new InFocus Kangaroo Notebook is a modular laptop PC that comes with a lightweight laptop dock and two Mini PCs. The two CPUs run Windows 10 and allow you to easily separate storage space. This is done so that multiple user accounts on one PC do not degrade the performance. Also, separate PCs help you to secure important data.
The different computing modules of Infocus Kangaroo Notebook offer separate PC experiences in one lightweight HD laptop dock. Both Mini PCs are entirely independent from each other. The laptop dock features an 11.6-inch display with a resolution of 1,366 x 768 pixels. Other features include a full keyboard, Synaptics Clickpad, battery, webcam, USB 2.0 and 3.0 ports, SD card reader, 3.5mm audio jack, microphone, and speakers.
The swappable Mini PCs are powered by Intel Z8350 Cherrytrail CPU, which is supported by 2GB of RAM and 32GB of eMMC storage. Both come with Bluetooth 4.2 LE and WiFi 802.11ac. The Mini PCs use a proprietary connector to connect to the laptop dock.
According to InFocus, the Kangaroo Notebook is the ideal solution for individuals who want a customized yet secure PC experience with the ability to decide which information is securely stored on each of the Kangaroo Mini computing modules.
