Videocon has launched the Cube 3 smartphone in its Cube series for mid-ranged budget users in India. The device comes with a panic button and other exciting features like Walk with ME, Reach On Time, and comes pre-loaded with SOS-Be Safe emergency response app. Let’s check out the specifications and features of the Videocon Cube 3.
Videocon Cube 3 Specifications and Features: The device sports a 5-inches HD (1280 x 720 pixels) IPS 2.5D curved glass display with Dragon Trail Glass protection, and is powered by MediaTek MT6735 SoC clocked at 1.3 GHz quad-core 64-bit processor with MaliT720 GPU. It packs 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage with a microSD card slot for further expansion of memory.
The device runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow right out of the box. Talking about the camera, the device features a 13-megapixel rear camera with dual-tone LED flash and a 5-megapixel front camera for selfies and video calls. Connectivity features include 4G VoLTE, Dual SIM, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, and GPS. A 3000mAh battery is on board.
Walk with ME feature will send the location of the user to emergency contact at regular intervals, each On Time sends an alert if a user hasn’t reached a particular destination at the set time. The power button will also act as SOS button, and it can send customized alerts with the GPS location to friends. Videocon says the panic button will feature across its entire smartphone portfolio as Govt. of India has mandated that every smartphone should feature a Panic button starting from January 1st, 2017.
Pricing and Availability: The Videocon Cube 3 is priced at Rs. 8,490 and will be available from offline as well as online retail stores in India.
