Samsung has introduced the Galaxy Tab A (2016) tablet in South Korea. This latest A-series tablet from Samsung sports a 10.1-inches (1920×1200) WUXGA TFT PLS 16: 10 display, and is powered by the Exynos 7870 SoC clocked at 1.6 GHz Octa-Core processor. It packs 3GB of RAM and 32GB internal storage with a microSD card slot for memory expansion up to 256GB. The Galaxy Tab A(2016) runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow right out of the box.
In the camera department, the device features an 8-megapixel autofocus rear camera with LED flash, f/1.9 aperture and a 2-megapixel front camera with a f/2.2 aperture for better selfies and video calls. The tablet comes with S Pen stylus with all the functionalities as seen on Galaxy Note7.
Connectivity features include 4G LTE,WiFi a / b / g / n / ac (2.4 + 5 GHz) , Bluetooth 4.2 and GPS + GLONASS / Beidou. Talking about the dimensions, it measures 254.3 x 164.2 x 8.2mm and weighs 558 grams. A 7,300mAh battery is on board.
Pricing and Availability: The Samsung Galaxy Tab A (2016) with S Pen comes in Black and White colors and is priced at 399,000 Won (US$ 355 / Rs. 23,770 approx.) in Korea. No information regarding the global roll out yet.
