Blizzard has announced Overwatch free weekend for consoles. It will start tomorrow, on September 9th and end on September 12th. The free weekend is available for Xbox One and PlayStation 4 players of the game.
Overwatch free weekend – Play for free from 9th to 12th September
If you haven’t tried the game, now is your chance. Download the game from official Blizzard site and jump into the action. Blizzard has also made some new reveals and changes for Overwatch this free weekend:
1. Full roster of 22 heroes and 13 maps available for play in a variety of modes, including Quick Play, Custom Games, and the latest Weekly Brawl.
2. Level up, earn Loot Boxes, and unlock different customization options via the Hero Gallery.
3. Your game progress during free weekend will also carry over to the game if you decide to buy it.
No sign-up code or anything is required for PlayStation 4 players. As for Xbox One, only Xbox Gold membership players will get access.
The free period will begin on September 9 at 11:00 a.m. PT (18:00 UTC) and end on September 12 at 4:00 p.m. PT (23:00 UTC) in all gameplay regions.

Download and play instructions for PlayStation 4 players
1. Turn on your PlayStation 4 and log in to your preferred local user.
2. Go to PlayStation Store and select “Search” from the top menu.
3. In the search field, type in “Overwatch.”
4. Select “Overwatch Free Weekend” from the search results and then click “Download.”
5. Once the download and installation process is complete, click “Start” to begin!
Download and play instructions for Xbox One players
1. Turn on your Xbox One and log in to your Xbox Live account.
2. Go to the Xbox One Store, then select “Search.”
3. In the search field, type in “Overwatch.”
4. Select “Overwatch: Origins Edition Free Weekend” from the search results and then click “Free Trial.”
5. Once the download and installation process is complete, click “Launch” to begin
