Square Enix’s fifteenth installment in the award-winning franchise is due to arrive later this year. The game is still more than a month far but interviews with the game director Hajime Tabata shed some light into what the game will feature. Final Fantasy XV features add some new things to the game mechanics to keep the franchise up to speed with the changing standards in the RPG genre. The game hasn’t drastically changed. So, fans shouldn’t be scared of the game turning into something completely unrecognizable.
1. Final Fantasy 15 Features Open World and Linear Gameplay
Final fantasy XV features a hybrid of open world RPG action and linear gameplay. Te game is approximately 50 hours long and will have linear story missions for the latter half. This sort of mixed gameplay will be a first for the franchise and we will be eager to see how it plays out with newcomers and long-time fans of the franchise.
2. Game Will have a total of 6 Add-Ons
The game will have a total of 6 expansions that will enhance the gameplay even further. Hajime hasn’t clarified what changes the expansions will bring to the game. The six add-ons in question will arrive for the game outside its season pass offerings.
3. You can use snipe mode in rifles
Square Enix shared in this week’s issue of Jump magazine some new info on their upcoming PS4 and Xbox One RPG, Final Fantasy XV. The game offers a variety of weapons to combat with. Players can use weapons ranging from pistols to rifles. Rifles can even be used to snipe enemies from a distance if you attach a long range scope to it.
4. Use machinery to inflict Attack Wave and Circular Saw
You can execute some deadly moves using the newly introduced Machinery. These include “Attack Wave” and “Circular Saw” that deal heavy damage using the circular blade rotating at high-speed.
5. Final Fantasy XV will release on November 29
This is known to many people who have been following the development of Final Fantasy XV closely. The game was delayed from September to November 29. Good news is the game won’t be delayed further than that so we’ll just have to wait for a month for the game to arrive.
