Fresh leaked photos of the Nexus 2016 Sailfish smartphones have surfaced on Weibo, Android Pure reported. The new photos show the Nexus Sailfish smartphone running the latest Nexus launcher.

The back panel of the smartphone sports dual colors. The upper part has a patterned texture and it houses the rear camera along with its LED flash. The leaked images show the smartphone in color options like silver, black and gold.

Nexus 2016 Sailfish Specifications, Features

The HTC Nexus 2016 Sailfish will be arriving with a 5-inch display that supports full HD resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. It will deliver a pixel density of 440 ppi.

It will be powered by a quad-core processor that works at a speed of 2.0 GHz. Speculations suggest that the Snapdragon 820 chipset will be fueling the smartphone that will be coupled with 4 GB of RAM.

Its rear camera will be of 12-megapixel and its selfie shooter will be of 8-megapixel. The rear side will also house a fingerprint reader.

Since the existing smartphones such as Nexus 6P, Nexus 5X, Nexus 9, and others have received Android 7.0 Nougat update, Nexus 2016 rumors indicate that the Nexus 2016 smartphones will arrive preloaded with Android 7.1 Nougat OS. Other specs include 3.5 mm audio jack, bottom speakers, a USB Type-C port and a 2,770 mAh battery.

Google Nexus 2016 Sailfish is speculated to get unleashed at the end of September and it is likely to be available for purchase by early October. Nexus Blog has reported that the 32 GB Nexus 2016 Sailfish will be priced at $449.
