ARCHOS has introduced the 50f Helium and 50f Helium Lite smartphones ahead of the IFA 2016 event that is scheduled to kick start from 2nd September. Apart from 50f Helium and 50f Helium Lite, the company has also introduced the new 55 Helium lineup that includes ARCHOS 55 Helium, ARCHOS 55 Helium Ultra and ARCHOS 55 Helium 4 Seasons. All these smartphones will be showcased at the IFA 2016 event officially.
ARCHOS 50f Helium Specifications and Pricing
The Archos 50f Helium sports a 5-inch HD (1280 X 720) display and is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 210 SoC clocked at 1.1GHz Quad-Core processor accompanied with Adreno 304 GPU.
It comes with 2GB of RAM and native 32GB internal storage that is expandable via a dedicated microSD card slot for memory expansion up to 128GB. The ARCHOS 50f Helium packs an 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash that allows you to click decent low-light images. It also has a 2-megapixel selfie shooter.
The ARCHOS 50f helium rocks a fingerprint sensor for extra protection. It runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow right out of the box with near stock UI. Connectivity options include 4G LTE, Dual SIM, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, and GPS. It measures 144×72.1×9.1mm and weighs 158g. The Archos 50f Helium Lite features almost similar specs to Archos 50f Helium. The only difference you can found in both these devices is RAM and internal storage. The Archos 50f Helium features 2GB of RAM along with 32GB built-in storage while the Lite variant comes with 1GB of RAM and 8GB internal storage. Both the smartphones sport microSD card for expanding external storage up to 128GB.
Pricing and Availability: The ARCHOS 50f Helium Lite is priced at £99.90 (US$ 103 / Rs. 6970 approx.) and will be available from October 2016.

The 55 Helium Ultra comes with 3GB RAM and 32GB native internal storage with a dedicated microSD card slot for memory expansion up to 128GB. On the other hand, the 55 Helium and 55 Helium 4 Seasons pack 1GB RAM and 16GB native storage with a microSD card slot for memory expansion.
