Samsung very recently unveiled its latest flagship device Samsung Galaxy Note7. It will go on sale starting 2nd September while the pre-bookings have already commenced. One thing that was almost sure with the launch of the Note7 was the incumbent price slash in the earlier flagships like the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge and the S7. And as expected, we’ve just received the news of huge price slashes in the costs of the Galaxy S7 as well as the S7 Edge in India.
Samsung India has heavily reduced the prices of the Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge in India prior to the launch of the Note7. The Galaxy S7 gets a price cut of Rs. 5,000 while the Edge version enjoying a cut of Rs. 6,000 on their official prices.
Samsung Galaxy S7 (32GB variant) which earlier launched with an official price tag of Rs. 48,900 will come with a reduced MRP of Rs. 43,400 now. While the S7 Edge (32GB variant) which was earlier priced at Rs. 56,900 will now come at a cost of Rs. 50,900.
The pre-bookings for the Samsung Galaxy Note7 have already commenced from Monday and this price reduction was almost anticipated. This move will not only boost the sales of the S7 and S7 Edge but also make room for the Note7 which is expected to bear a higher cost. We’ll keep you posted with all the latest developments.
