Just like Clash of Clans, which required several balancing updates, Clash Royale is still evolving and needs updates for gameplay balancing. Supercell, the developer of Clash Royale has now confirmed upcoming balancing changes in the game. The update is expected to arrive in late August or early September.

For some time now, players have been requesting a Mini Pekka nerf because of its higher damage and appearance rate. According to the bit bag, players have also been requesting the developer to make changes in Bowlers. If the recent leaks and confirmation from Supercell are anything to go by, Clash Royale is getting an update soon. Of late, several players haven’t been happy with the way people use bowlers in the game and have requested Supercell to make some balancing changes. The players have raised a concern that they have been encountering the similar type of attacks and it becomes really tough for the players to counter them.

Bowler

Some fans have also suggested imposing a penalty for mass bowler attacks. Or, they suggest that Supercell should at least limit their use. Using too many bowlers gives the attacker a strategic advantage and makes the battle one-sided. If you are a Clash of Clans player, then you will recall that a similar update was rolled out for Queen-Healer combination. The Queen, backed up by 4 to 5 healers used to give the attacker an undue advantage. With fan requests, this was later balanced by Supercell. Looks like something similar will happen to the bowler strategy in Clash Royale. But there are players who share a different opinion on the use of bowlers. They feel that players should just continue using bowlers and enjoy the game and that any changes or updates to the existing bowler strategy will only kill the fun. While many other troops have seen balancing updates, it remains to be seen to what extent Supercell will bring in the changes for bowlers in Clash Royale in the upcoming update.

No specific update schedule has been announced by Supercell, but the official announcement is expected to come anytime soon. What do you think? Does the bowler strategy need an update? Or should players continue using it the way it is now? Do let us know. Feel free to post in the comments section!
