Chinese smartphone manufacturer Zopo may not be a very popular smartphone brand in Indian smartphone market yet, but there is no denying that the Zopo is slowly making itself known in the Indian market for its great quality products. Zopo just launched its flagship device Zopo Speed 8 in India. The Company claims it to be the fastest smartphone in the world.
The Zopo Speed 8 sports a 5.5-inch FHD display and is powered by a deca-core MediaTek Helio X 20 (MT6797) processor coupled with Mali-T880 MP 4 GPU and 4GB of RAM. The device offers 32GB of internal storage and packs a 3600 mAh Li-polymer battery with USB Type-C and fast charging support.
In the camera department, the Zopo Speed 8 features a 21MP rear shooter with f/2.0 aperture with Face Detection Auto Focus and Phase Detection Autofocus (PDAF). There’s an 8MP camera with LED flashlight on the front for selfies and video chat. Among other notable features, there is NFC and a fingerprint sensor at the rear of the device.
Zopo Mobile’s Brand Manager, Charles Bird said on the launch, “With the Deca- Core processor, we have the opportunity to work with Mediatek to be the first to launch it. It is faster and its great brand awareness because we can say that we were the first one to launch. It just goes without saying that it’s a great band promotion.” He further added, “With Speed 8 what it translates into benchmarks, it scored extremely high in Antutu pegging at 93000 and if you see Xiamoi except for the latest one, all of them score much lower than that.”
Zopo Speed 8 has a price tag of Rs. 29,999 and will be sold on both the offline and online platforms.
