Halo 5’s Warzone Firefight mode hasn’t been out for long, but it’s clearly been a hit with the Halo 5 community. Last Friday, developer 343 Industries pushed out a new hotfix for the game, which further refines Warzone Firefight. The update is based on play data as well as feedback captured from the real-life game sessions, according to the official blog post. Continue reading to find out what’s new.
The majority of the adjustments are meant to tune the game’s difficulty. According to the game’s multiplayer designer David Ellis, “a few objectives … were not playing at a difficulty appropriate to the round where they exist.” The hotfix is far from the end of changes, as 343 Industries aims for even more updates to improve Warzone Firefight.
A look at the adjustments shows that they mostly involve moving various objectives from one round to another. The updates are active on all the following maps: Urban, March of Stormbreak, Raid on Apex 7, Skirmish at Darkstar and Escape from A.R.C. Of these, Raid on Apex 7 has seen the most changes. There’s also a fix for Forge, where an issue pertaining to generating lighting on Tidal has been resolved.
