After several weeks of beta testing, iOS 9.3.3 has finally been released to the public. Yes, the final version of the firmware is out now, but it has surely raised some new questions. Will we get an iOS 9.3.2 jailbreak? Or will Pangu release an iOS 9.3.3 jailbreak? Several speculations are revolving on the web regarding this matter.
According to a report by MobileNApps, Pangu may announce a new jailbreak tool soon. This rumor began after the MOSEC conference held by the hacker team in China, where Pangu also demonstrated the iOS 10 jailbreak. If iOS 10 is more secure than iOS 9.3 (which is what we are expecting), then it won’t be hard for Pangu to jailbreak iOS 9.3.3. And who knows the team may already have a jailbreak ready?
A GameNGuide report suggests that jailbreaking iOS 9.3.2 is out of question now for Pangu, and the team will concentrate on the later versions of iOS. If the team is going to release any jailbreak at all, it will be for the latest stable version- iOS 9.3.3. That’s because the new iOS 9.3.3 is more stable and less buggy than iOS 9.3.2 that suffered from some bugs.
However, it is also possible that Apple might have tightened the security in iOS 9.3.3, making it harder for Pangu to find exploits. There’s also a possibility of the new firmware being unjailbreakable. A report from Yibada says that an iOS 9.3.2 jailbreak release is imminent now, and here’s why.
If Pangu has found a jailbreak for iOS 9.3.2, the team would have been waiting for iOS 9.3.3 to come out so that Apple doesn’t get a chance to patch the iOS 9.3.2 jailbreak exploits in iOS 9.3.3. But now that the final public version of iOS 9.3.3 is out, Pangu can easily release the iOS 9.3.2 jailbreak anytime now. If the team finds it easy and convenient, we may get a better iOS 9.3.3 jailbreak.
So if there’s going to be an iOS 9.3.3 jailbreak release, it will happen within a week. If not, we will have to wait for the iOS 10 jailbreak directly.
