Chinese smartphone maker, ZTE had earlier unveiled its flagship device, ZTE Axon 7 in the month of May this year. Since then, the Axon 7 has gone up for pre-order in a lot of European countries. ZTE fans in the US were still waiting for the Axon 7 to go up for sale. Finally after weeks of waiting, ZTE Axon 7 went up for pre-orders in the USA.
The Axon 7 can be pre-ordered from either ZTE US Online Store or Amazon at a price of $399.98. The device will start shipping from July 27. However, users must note that the Axon 7 is currently available only in the Ion Gold colour option and if they rather wish to have the Quartz Gray colour variant, they would have to sadly wait until August 17.
To recall, the ZTE Axon 7 sports a 5.5-inch QHD AMOLED display and is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 chipset coupled with Adreno 530 GPU and 4GB of RAM. It offers 64GB of internal storage which can be expanded further via a microSD card and packs a 3,250 mAh battery. The Axon 7 runs Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow with ZTE’s own MiFavor UI 4.0 on top. The device offers a 20MP primary rear shooter with dual-tone LED flash and an 8MP secondary front-facing camera for selfies and video chat.
The ZTE Axon 7 will compete against the likes of OnePlus 3, ASUS Zenfone 3 Deluxe and Xiaomi Mi5. The device has been priced very competitively and offers top of the line specs.
