We have seen 6GB of RAM in a lot of smartphones this year, and it is slowly becoming the flagship trend or standard in the industry. It has already been said that the Galaxy Note 7 will come with 6GB of RAM to stay ahead of the competition. However, some new information from China suggests that the RAM might go up a bit higher.
According to popular Chinese analyst Pan Jiutang, the Galaxy Note 7 might get 8GB RAM and Snapdragon 821. A lot of users had asked the analyst about the device getting 6GB RAM, and the analyst replied that Samsung will try to up the game this time over the other smartphone players. This new information was revealed on Weibo.
Also, it is rumored that LeEco will be releasing a new version of the LeEco Le Max 2 later this year with 8GB RAM. This is why Samsung may consider providing an 8GB RAM variant in its new Galaxy Note7 series (if different variants are really launched). Benchmark leaks have already told a lot about the phone and 4GB RAM is confirmed, so we can safely say that 6GB RAM is expected.
What do you think? Is 8GB RAM possible this year? Or will Samsung save it for its 2017 flagship smartphones? Of course, even though the analyst has a track record of successful predictions, we suggest you to take this news with a pinch of salt until more details leak out.
