Google has released Inbox by Gmail way back in 2014 to compete with the likes of some third party apps such as Boxer and so on. However, the company failed miserably to achieve that. In order to make the application look and feel better, the company has been releasing new updates every now and then.
The latest update which was released today taken comes with the version number 1.26. The update doesn’t boast of any new features minus some bug fixes and performance improvements as per the official changelog.
The official changelog is as follows:
• Bug fixes and performance improvements
The update is small in size as well. And the target API level is Android 6.0 Marshmallow. Maybe Google has addressed and fixed issues with devices such as Galaxy Note 5 and Galaxy S7 as many users reported issues with the application. That said, if you own any Galaxy device running Android Marshmallow and above, you can Free Download the application and check out whether your issues are fixed or not.
The update is incremental and may take some time to reach to your device. If you want to install the same by sideloading the apk, you can visit some mirror sites such as apkmirror.com.
