Being the largest smartphone company in the world, Samsung is expected to capture every segment of the smartphone market. However, it has been noticed that the South Korean giant is losing hold of the budget smartphone segment that is being captured by companies like Xiaomi, Lenovo, and LeEco.
Of course, Samsung has affordable smartphone too, and its J series is especially popular for low-cost phones. The Samsung Galaxy J5 sells very well, and the Galaxy J5 (2016) was released this year with some significant upgrades. But is it really that good to be chosen against other popular devices in the segment?
Well, it doesn’t seem so. LeEco has had great success with the LeEco Le 1s, and the company has launched its successor, the LeEco Le 2, this year. The Le 2 is not a completely different phone from the Le 1s, but it has got some important upgrades. The highlight is obviously its price, and the phone can beat devices double its cost.
