The Pokémon Company has announced via Twitter (Japanese) that new information regarding Pokémon Sun and Moon will be released on June 2nd, 2016. This is not very far from our previous reveal, in which we learned all the essential details of the game, such as the region it is set in and the starters we’ll get to play with. We’ve also had a look at the game’s cover legendaries, seen below.

In the tweet (via Siliconera), The Pokémon Company has not yet announced what kind of information will be released on June 2nd, but we think that it will likely serve to further flesh out the world. Chances are high we might find out what the evolved forms of the starter Pokémon look like, or the names of the cover Legendaries, both of which have already been busy in the rumour mill. It’s also possible that we might simply discover more Pokémon that might be found in the wild, or the first few gyms in the game. Really, it could be anything.

Pokémon Sun and Moon is slated to release exclusively for the Nintendo 3DS in Japan and North America this holiday season: specifically, on November 18th in North America and Japan, and in Europe on November 23rd, 2016.
