Groove Team at Microsoft has just released an update for Windows Insiders on the fast ring targeting the issues reported with the earlier update. Mobile, PC, and HoloLens users running the insiders build on the fast ring should get the update anytime soon.
This Groove app update is mainly about fixes and doesn’t offer any new features. Following is the changelog from Microsoft on the app page:
Fixed five bugs affecting vision-impaired users
Fixed six issues that could result in an app crash
Fixed an issue where the playback bar got stuck while in “repeat one” mode
Fixed an issue that prevented the system media controls from updating when rapidly hitting next
With the latest flight for PC (build 14342), you should also have a fix for the following previously advertised known issue:
[FIXED]: Playing music in Groove within 2 minutes after logging into your PC will result in 0xc10100ae playback errors. If you wait more than 2 minutes after logging in to play music in Groove Music you will avoid this issue
Microsoft is hot on the heels of Windows 10 update which rolled out yesterday to mobiles and PCs including insiders and non-insiders devices. The software giant is pretty busy in getting things ready for the big Anniversary update scheduled for Summer so updates are coming on the daily basis for apps and other stuff.
In case you are on the fast ring of Windows Insiders program, do update to the latest Groove app at the earnest, and share you experience with other users in the comments section below.
