WhatsApp has been receiving a lot of updates recently, most of them with very little to no changes at all. As for the changes, you can now reply to all the new messages right from the notifications itself, like quick reply. Also, when you are inside a chat, you can tap the quick camera button to select a video or photo from your gallery camera roll. You can set a chat wallpaper from a set of solid colors. Multiple chats can be deleted archived, or muted quickly now; all you need to do is tap and hold on a chat and then tap on other chats to select as many as you want.
Lastly, you can now format the text in your messages by surrounding the specific text in special characters. For instance, you can format text into *bold*, _italics_, or ~strikethrough~ as per your wish.
