Huawei has already gained lots of accolades for the recently-launched Huawei P9 that came with a dual-camera setup. Well, it looks like the new technology is here to stay. The company is launching a similar phone under its Honor brand dubbed as the Honor V8, and this phone is carrying a dual camera setup like the Huawei P9 and is launching on 10th May.

The Honor V8 has already passed TENAA and its specs have been revealed. The phone gets flagship-like features and specs, as it has got an all-metal body with 2.5D arc glass and a fingerprint sensor at the rear. There’s a 5.7-inch 2K display and the phone is powered by a Kirin 955 octa-core processor coupled with 4GB of RAM and 64GB internal storage. There will be possibly another variant that will get 32GB of internal storage, a Full HD resolution screen, and Kirin 950.

As for the camera setup, the Honor V8 will flaunt an 8MP snapper at the front and two 12MP cameras at the back along with laser autofocus and dual-tone dual LED flash. The phone will be juiced by a 3,400mAh battery and will run on EMUI 4.1 based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow.

The Honor V8 is going to be launched on 10th May, the same date when the Xiaomi Mi Max is going to be unveiled officially. The V8 will be the Honor flagship apparently. Stay tuned and we will keep you updated about its price and release date.
