After Samsung has converted its A-Series to full-metal-and-glass phones with the update in 2016, it is now looking at revamping the C-series as well. Thanks to the GFXBench listing, we now have some specs for the Galaxy C7.
Previous leaked on AnTuTu and Geekbench, the Samsung Galaxy C7 is one of the first smartphones with the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 625. It is an octa-core chipset with eight ARM Cortex-A53 cores clocked at up to to 2.0GHz. We expect a microSD slot too in this phone. The display of the Samsung Galaxy C7 SM-C7000 is reported to be 5.5 inches with a full HD resolution of 1920×1080 pixels. As usual, Samsung will most likely use its SuperAMOLED panel.
On top of that, there are of course the usual connectivity options like WiFi, Bluetooth, and NFC to support Samsung Pay. The phone gets 4GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage and runs on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow. It gets a 16MP rear camera and an 8MP front camera.
Nothing else is known at this point, but we are sure that the phone will launch soon in a month or two.
