The Legend of Zelda for Wii U has a number of rumours following in its wake. While we’ve yet to hear more from Nintendo about the game, rumours are already telling us quite a bit about the game. Rumours suggest that the game will be coming out not only on the Wii U, but also on Nintendo’s upcoming console, codenamed the Nintendo NX.
The Nintendo NX is expected to be revealed within the next two months – at E3 2016 latest, and it is believed that the console will launch around Holiday season this year. Not only that, but The Legend of Zelda for Wii U will also be coming out on the NX, with better graphics, naturally. The game will be a launch title for the NX, and will release this holiday season as well.
Apart from this, rumours suggest that the game might allow the option to play as a female protagonist in the game. It is unclear if this will be a choice, or if both the male and female protagonists will have to be used in tandem. The same rumour hints that Link will not be voiced, but other characters in the game will be.
Nintendo has yet to confirm these rumours, but based on the multiple sources hinting towards these, it seems increasingly certain that they are indeed true. We’ll have to wait and watch until E3 2016 to see if they are indeed true. What do you think about these rumours? Let us know in the comments below.
