The Legend of Zelda Wii U was announced all the way back in on January 23rd, 2013. That’s a very, very long time ago. It’s been a little over 3 years, or to be more precise, over 1158 days ago, 27,770 hours ago, 1,666,000 minutes ago and a whopping 100,000,000 seconds ago. And you know that somewhere in the world there is a dedicated Zelda fan counting every single one of those seconds.

Since the announcement of The Legend of Zelda Wii U, Nintendo has released 8 Zelda games: The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD, The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds, Hyrule Warriors, The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask 3D, The Legend of Zelda: Tri Force Heroes, The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD, Hyrule Warriors Legends and My Nintendo Picross The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess.

Apart from these, Link appeared in Sonic Lost World, Mario Kart 8 and Super Smash Bros. 4 and that’s not even counting the times his costume was included. Nintendo held three E3 conferences, including the terrific one in 2014 to the lacklustre one in 2015. And yes, Metroid Prime: Federation Force was announced. Never forget.

Outside of Nintendo’s world, Barack Obama served his second term in office, Scott Kelly went to space and returned, the PS4 and Xbox One were released and the iPhone went from 5 to 5s to 6 to 6s to SE. All this information was put together to make you feel old by the folks over at Nintendo Enthusiast.
