Microsoft has been working pretty hard which can be seen with the weekly release of insiders build. Keeping in sync with PCs, Microsoft has released the Redstone Build 14295 for Windows 10 Mobile too. Only a few hours back the PC build with same version number was released to insiders.
Windows 10 Mobile Redstone Build 14295 doesn’t bring any new features like the PC build but improves on performance and bugs count. Gabe Aul, head of the Windows Insider program said, “a good set of fixes that insiders will enjoy.”
Though the release doesn’t bring any big changes, we recommend updating to same since the overall experience is expected to be improved.
Earlier, the Redstone builds were limited to devices that launched with Windows 10 Mobile like Lumia 550, 650, 950, and 950 XL, but starting this week, the company is also offering Windows Phone owners the possibility of installing these versions. All Windows Phone supported by Windows Insider program barring the 512 MB RAM devices and few others are eligible for testing out the latest build.
As far as the owners of Lumia 635 are concerned, we have a good news. The Redmond-based company plans to add this model to Windows insider program and a build will be released later for this model too.
“Going forward – these devices will be able to receive new builds from our Development Branch that we release to the Fast and Slow rings. As we stated previously, only devices which are eligible to receive the Windows 10 Mobile upgrade will be able to get preview builds from the Development Branch,” Aul explained.
Right now, this build is available for insiders enrolled in the fast ring and after the positive feedback, same will be released to users on the slow and preview rings.
