OnePlus has permanently slashed the price of its flagship device or shall we say its flagship killer device of last year, OnePlus 2. The 16GB variant of the OnePlus 2 will be now available for Rs. 20,999, instead of Rs. 22,999 and the 64 GB variant will now cost Rs. 22,999, instead of Rs. 24,999. Both of the variants have seen a price cut of 2,000 rupees.
The company said on this occasion, “Let’s just say that thanks to both timing and scale, our operations have sized up sufficiently propelling us to offer our flagship offering as an even better proposition for your connectivity needs.”
The price slash may be an indication for the arrival of OnePlus’ this year’s flagship device. OnePlus has always been known for providing top of the line hardware at minimal costs and rumours about its next flagship are already doing rounds.
OnePlus sports an FHD 5.5-inch IPS display and is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor along with 4 GB of RAM. The device offers 64 GB or 16 GB internal memory variants which can’t be further expanded. It features a 13 MP rear camera with laser autofocus and a 5 MP front-facing camera.
