Cricket Wireless just introduced a budget smartphone LG Spree in the US market for a price of $89.99 (approx. Rs. 6,050). The handset went on March 11 and is available in Black and Gold colour variants.
The LG Spree sports a 4.5-inch FWVGA display (854 × 480 pixels) and is powered by a quad-core Snapdragon 210 processor clocked at 1.1GHz along with 1GB of RAM. The device runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop OS and packs a decent 1940mAh battery which is removable. LG has promised a standby time of up to 234 hours and a talk time of up to 13 hours.
The device offers an internal memory of 8GB which can be further expanded up to 32GB via micro SD card. On the camera front, LG Spree sports a 5MP rear camera with LED flash and a 2MP front-facing camera. The smartphone measures 131.8 x 66.8 x 8.89 mm and weighs 120 gm. The device is 4G enabled and all common connectivity features like WiFi (802.11 b/g/n), Bluetooth, GPS, etc. are also available.

LG had also recently launched its LG Stylus 2 in Korea at a price of KRW 396,000 (approx. Rs. 22,076). The LG Stylus 2 sports a 720p 5.7-inch IPS display with an in-cell touch display. The device is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core processor along with 1.5GB of RAM. Notably, the LG Stylus 2 runs on the latest Android 6.0 Marshmallow and packs an impressive 3000mAh removable battery which should provide a good amount of juice considering the 720p display. It features 13MP/8 MP camera setup and an inbuilt storage of 16GB which can be further expanded with a micro SD card.
