We now have the strongest confirmation of The Witcher 3: Blood and Wine’s release date, thanks to a Polish website that may have jumped the gun. GRY Online, one of the largest European websites for video games, has listed the game for an April 26th release.
If you check out the GRY Online entry for Blood and Wine, it lists the game for release in “26 kwietnia 2016”, which translates to “26 April 2016” from Polish. It is unclear where the site got the date from, but it might point to knowledge blocked by an embargo. If the game is indeed coming out on this date, it would make sense for us to see an information blow-out soon. If Hearts of Stone is anything to go by, this expansion for The Witcher 3 is going to be enormous as well.
This date is considerably sooner than the previous June release date rumours had suggested a while ago. According to that rumour, the size of the game map will be 75% of the map used for Novigrad and Velen. We hope that part was legit, at least.
