The Indian smartphone market has already been flooded with budget smartphones which offer decent specs at a sub-5K price. Adding to this vast array of devices, Intex has brought its latest budget smartphone Intex Cloud Breeze.
The device has been listed on company’s official website with a price tag of Rs 3,999 and will be sold exclusively through Snapdeal. This is a 3G smartphone and the 4G support is missing. The Intex Cloud Breeze will be pegged against devices like Swipe Konnect 5.1 and Karbonn K9 Smart among other budget smartphones.
The Cloud Breeze sports a 5-inch display with Gorilla Glass 3 protection and is powered by a 1.2GHz dual-core MediaTek processor along with 1 GB of RAM. The device has an inbuilt storage of 8 GB which can be extended up to 32 GB using microSD card.
It features a 5-megapixel rear shooter with an LED flash and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video chat. It packs a 2,300mAh battery which promises a standby time of 30 days and a talk-time of up to 4-6 hours. It runs on Android OS Android 4.4 KitKat which is rather old considering that Android Marshmallow is being rolled out to so many devices.
The device has dual-SIM functionality and has other connectivity options like 3G, Bluetooth, GPS, Wi-Fi among others. Intex has packed this device with pre-loaded software like NewsHunt, Clean Master, Amazon, Chaatz, FOTA, OPERA MINI, etc. The phone also supports the Matrabhasha feature which allows users to communicate in 21 Indian regional languages.
