If the rumours are to be believed, then the Lenovo start-up ZUK is working on a compact or ‘mini’ smartphone. This rumoured ZUK device will reportedly have a 720p 4.7-inch IPS display. This screen size is preferred by many users considering the comfortable single-hand usage.
This mini ZUK device will be powered by the MediaTek Helio P10 chipset along with Mali-T860MP2 GPU. The device will come in two variants: 3 GB of RAM / 32 GB of inbuilt storage and 2 GB RAM/16 GB internal storage.
The highlight of the device, however, is the fingerprint sensor whose positioning is still not clear yet. The design is also yet to be unveiled but we may expect a shrunk version of ZUK Z1. It is also even possible that the company may go for something new.
We’re not very sure yet whether the device will run Cyanogen OS which the official OS in the Z1. Pricing and unavailability or rather the very existence of this device aren’t certain yet. We do hope that device is indeed real and not someone’s figment of the imagination.
