The Xiaomi Redmi Note 3, the company’s first all-metal phone, was launched back in November 2015 and created a lot of hype in India, owing to their great prices and amazing numbers that they sold in the country for. Well, after quite a few months of wait, the phone is going to be launched in India next week.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 will be launched in India on 3rd March at the Talkatora Stadium in New Delhi. Released first in China, most of us were wondering why it took Xiaomi so long to bring the phone to India. Well, the reason behind it is that Xiaomi had to swap the Helio X10 CPU with the Snapdragon 650 due to a patent issue it got into against Ericsson. The phone will be sold in the country in two variants- one with 3GB RAM and 32GB onboard storage, and the other with 2GB RAM and 16GB onboard storage.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 comes with a 5.5-inch IPS LCD FullHD screen and houses a fingerprint sensor on the back. Running Android 5.0.2 with MIUI 7.0 out of the box, the phone features a 16MP rear camera with PDAF and a f/2.0 aperture coupled with a 5MP front camera. Juiced by a 4,000mAh non-removable battery, the phone is 4G LTE-enabled.
As for the Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 price in India, we expect it to be somewhere between INR 10,000 to INR 15,000. The devices will be competing with other popular devices in the same range such as the Lenovo K4 Note, Honor 5X, and LeEco Le 1s.
