Zopo has launched two new Zopo speed series smartphones in the ongoing MWC in Barcelona, namely, Zopo Speed 7C and Zopo Speed 8.

Zopo has stated that the Speed 8 is the first smartphone to feature the deca-core Helio X20 MediaTek SoC. On the other hand, Speed 7C features a wooden battery cover as the highlight of the device.

Zopo Speed 7C is a dual-SIM smartphone sporting a 5-inch HD (720×1280 pixels) IPS display with a pixel density of 293ppi. It is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6735 SoC coupled with 2GB of RAM. It packs 16GB of internal storage expandable with an external microSD card. The smartphone runs Android 5.1 Lollipop and has a dimension of 146.1×70.6×8.65mm and weighs 136 grams.

It packs a 13.2MP rear camera with LED flash, OmniVision sensor, and f/2.2 aperture, and a 5-megapixel front shooter for selfies and video calling. The smartphone also boasts of 4G LTE apart from 3G, GPRS/ EDGE, GPS/ A-GPS, Bluetooth, GPS, OTG, Micro-USB, and USB OTG(On The Go). It is powered by a 2500mAh removable battery. The Zopo Speed 7C will be available in Ebony, Bamboo, Black, Apricot, and Phoenix back cover models.

The Zopo Speed 8, on the other hand, comes with a 5.5-inch FHD (1080×1920 pixels) display with a pixel density of 400ppi. As already mentioned, the Speed 8 packs MediaTek Helio X20 deca-core MT6797 SoC with beastly 4GB of RAM and 32GB of inbuilt storage.

Other features of the handset include a 21-megapixel rear camera with Sony IMX230 sensor and LED flash along with an 8MP front camera, and it packs a massive 3600mAh battery. The dual-SIM smartphone measures 152.5×76.35×9.8mm and weighs 136 grams. It supports all 4G Indian LTE bands, 3G HSPA+, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and other standard connectivity options. On top of it all, Speed 8 runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box.

Zopo Speed 7 C and Zopo Speed 8 looks pretty decent smartphones, however, Zopo has not revealed any details about the availability and pricing of these two smartphones.
