PTCRB has certified the latest firmware for the Xperia Z3+. The new version has a build number of 32.1.A.0.434. If you’re thinking that we are talking in runes, then let us make this simple for you. The new firmware means an update to Android 6.0 Marshmallow.

Users had already been waiting for the roll out of Xperia Z3+ Marshmallow update for some time now. Well, you don’t need to wait for any further as the latest firmware featuring Android 6.0 Marshmallow has been certified by the PTCRB and will be rolled out anytime soon.

The current firmware version of the phone is 28.0.A.8.272 featuring Android 5.0.2 Lollipop and we’ve already seen some reports indicating the release of the new update to build number 32.1.A.0.434 on 7th March.

If these reports are true, then we can expect that the final update will be released for other devices like Xperia Z5 series and the Xperia Z4 Tablet too.

Sony hasn’t officially announced anything yet and we’re still not very certain whether these are the final builds of the firmware heading for an official release or not, so take this news with a pinch of salt.
