In rather concerning news, it turns out that Bohemia Interactive’s feedback tracker for DayZ and ArmA 3 has been hacked. If you have an account over at the Mantis Feedback Tracker systems that Bohemia uses for collecting feedback, then now is a great time to change your passwords.
According to a post on the Bohemia Interactive forums, there is currently no evidence that any user data was compromised in the security breach. Also, the Feedback Tracker accounts were wisely kept separate from Bohemia Accounts and other services, so those accounts have not been compromised either.
Bohemia Interactive has taken all feedback trackers offline, and is strongly advising users of the feedback tracker to change their passwords on any sites or services where they may have used the same password. Players can report bugs on the Bohemia forums until the trackers are back online.
This is far from the first time Bohemia has had to deal with a hacker problem. Earlier this month, the DayZ forums were hacked, and user details had been compromised in that incident. Here’s hoping this is the end of Bohemia’s security nightmares.
